Qualifying Organizations & Funding Criteria

Qualifying Organizations

In order to qualify for funding, organizations must first register with The Aurora Foundation. Thereafter, registered organizations that qualify will receive invitations for calls for proposals.

Organizations may register at this time even if they do not currently provide services in the focus area for the Foundation.

Diverse Board of Directors
Audited Annual Financial Statements
Innovative approaches for victims of crime
Methodology for measuring outcomes

Eligible Initiatives

The Aurora Foundation recognizes that qualifying organizations require more funding than we can presently offer at this time.

Within our focus area, eligible initiatives must meet these minimum requirements:

Initiative addresses Gender-Based Violence
Innovative, novel approaches
Services delivered in rural and remote areas
Directly deliver services to victims
Operations extend beyond eligible initiative
